Ski and Snowboard School “Matterhorn-Cervinia” was founded in 1978 with its centre in Cieloalto and the first name of this group of instructors was “Ski School Cieloalto”. Characterized by a rather small number of instructors “at present we are 19”, it could satisfy the different demands and aspirations of very exacting and ambitious clients. Since 2004, the name of the school has become “Matterhorn-Cervinia”. Its new central headquarters is now situated in the town centre, in the area of Cretaz, just opposite the ski systems statio. Following the new trends of an ever increasing number of international clients, the new name of the group means to reflect the importance of the touristic and business bond with the neighbouring Zermatt (Swiss), offering more and more modern and various choices. The instructors of the school work in one of the most glamorous district in the world, fit to receive tourists from all over the world. The school has been able to renew, during the years, its own professionalism, selecting instructors specialized not only in skiing, but also in snowboarding and telemark. Besides the main office, we also have a reception point situated at 2500m, at Plan Maison. Inside the building, point of arrival of the two most important cableways and crucial spot as far as frequentation of skiers from all the district, we have recently realized a new and very modern office.
