Forget what you have been told by newspapers and TV. Snowboard is not a young sport neither for definition (it is more than 30 years old) nor for the age of its practisers. It is true that chiefly young and very young people are approaching this sport, but the practisers’ average age is “ripe” and, also they who are over forty can safely try to slide sideways on the snow, discovering new sensations on ski slopes but, most of all on off-track slopes: the first goal of every good surfer!
